Ross selected for the England junior kart team (19 July 03)

Ross Curnow is celebrating selection for the England Junior kart team to compete in the Internations Challenge against Scotland, Ireland and Wales. He fought off tough competition to make the six-strong team for the event at Rowrah in Cumbria.

Curnow is currently third in both the British Junior Rotax and the National Stars of Tomorrow kart championships.

The 16-year-old now holds a national race licence and has already had a very successful test session in a Formula Ford at Snetterton with a national race team.

Curnow is looking for sponsors to enable him to make the next step in his progression and race in one of the junior national single seater championships in 2004.
